Life’s Long Journey

I’m at work. That is my most frequent response!!

It's true! For many years I had it easy. Great family, marriage, world travel, and creating business, and after a very long journey I arrived in San Diego.

I have won and lost and won again. The events of the past month made me realize what in the words of the Grateful Dead: “ What a long strange trip it has been”.

Having moved to where many of my friends are happily! Then I had a flurry of unexpected bills happen and then right before Christmas, even a car issue a year to the day of last year! Finally one by one things are clearing! Afew more things to fix and the year will be for sure a better one.

I lost some hours of work, as we lost one of our team. I can’t seem to find a new way! Ron left us way too soon and took some business with him.I spoke to a childhood friend a bit older than me. Her husband is dealing with Parkinsons'' and she has many health challenges. Family fights over assets and property and families take sides. People from my past who thought I would provide for them keep surfacing.. they were not there when I needed a hand. Life gives the lessons you exactly need!

Life is a game that gets tougher as you get older instead of easier they tell you. I don’t want to play anymore.
