Love is all you need

This was written in 2001 when I was still trying to adjust from Greece to the USA!

Love is all you need I thought to myself.

How precious life is!

All around us clamor to make more money.

I reflect on how glad I am that I am alive!

What have I been through the last year!

I was waiting on Rhodes, trying to figure to go to Turkey? Cypress? Haifa?

Waiting on my lover who abandoned me without a plan.

Waiting to see if I should stay in the village never to return to America?

Waiting to ask about help to get somewhere.

Love is all you need I would say to myself.

Times I think I would have better had I stayed.

Love is all I need,

I WOULD THINK TO MYSELF.

Then I realized the lessons I needed could never have happened there, things to resolve things within myself.

I have learned as a soul I need not money, food, jobs, or even people.

Love is all you need.
