Plastik Panik

Last night I went to see a movie that was special to me.

Puss and Boots was the show it affected me more than I would know.

The story itself reminded me of myself: having many lives, many stories, and all the things I tried or hoped to be.

A kind heart was the key, as well as friends and family. The quest to be a better version of yourself, romanticizing the years in Greece, especially the twelfth.

I finally understood to be thankful for the moments we have now. Appreciating my work, friends, and family and all the experiences I have had that wow.

The memory last evening was clear, reminding me of the night in 2000 I went to that very same theatre, back in the USA my very first year.

That same place the plastic facade that first time put me in a panic, as the difference to my ancient island home in Rhodes was gigantic.

Time has passed and my senses have tuned into the types of construction here, experiencing comfort instead of fear.
